About Me

Cristian Paez Jr

Creative-tech entrepreneur — one guy, too many ideas, and a studio to hold them all.

Hey! I’m Chris. I’m a self-taught creative-tech entrepreneur from Maryland. On the creative side, I’ve dabbled in everything from VFX and animation to books and games; on the tech side, I code and build. These days I spend more time building things than making traditional content, but it all lives under one roof at Cristian Paez Jr Studios, my one-person studio.

I’ve never fit in one box. I love creative stuff, tech stuff, the spot where the two meet, and everything in between. So instead of picking just one interest, I work on a lot of them, and this site is the one place big enough to hold and show off all of it.

What I do.

  • Code & web

Websites, tools and interactive stuff, built from scratch (with plenty of vibe coding). This whole site included.

  • Videos & creative projects

VFX, animation, stories, games: whenever an idea grabs me, I make it, whatever it ends up being. See my videos →

  • Digital goods & merch

Sound packs, LUTs, presets, wallpapers, books and merch on my Links page.

  • Work with brands

Ads and collabs, made however the idea needs. I’m also open to freelance and full-time work.

What I’m into.

  • Seamless UI

I’m a little obsessed with interfaces that just work. If a site makes you hunt for a button (looking at you, Facebook’s deactivate page), I’ve probably complained about it. It’s a big reason I built this site myself.

  • Creative tech

My favorite spot is where art meets code: AI tools, interactive stuff, and building things like this site.

  • Other worlds

Pop culture is my escape: stories and worlds that let me live out another reality for a while. It’s also where most of my ideas come from.

  • Minimal tech

I love tech that’s simple but still has an artistic edge, which is why I’m an Apple guy through and through.

How I got here.

I started out like a lot of people online: a Beacons page, a Squarespace site, a Shopify store, a Patreon, a Gumroad. Five tabs, five logins, and none of it felt like mine.

So I taught myself to build my own website from scratch, with a lot of help from AI. My first web project, a soundboard called Noisegoblin, was basically homework. It taught me enough to build this whole site.

Now everything (the studio, the store, my links) lives in one house. That means I can get back to the reason I started: making stuff.

Built, and building.

  • This media kit & my Links page Live: all coded from scratch. The Links page changes daily, so it’s worth checking back.
  • Whatever’s next: I go where the ideas are.
  • Interactive media projects: something outside of social media. More on that soon.
  • New drops: on the Links page.

A few favorites

I love popular movies, TV shows, books & video games like The Last Of Us, The Avengers, Marvel, Harry Potter, Star Wars: Battlefront 2, Wizards of Waverly Place (and Wizards Beyond Waverly Place), and Apple TV’s Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed and my new favorite, Silo! And yes, I’m counting down to Avengers: Doomsday.

So what’s next…?

More of everything: more videos, more drops, more experiments. I still have too many ideas to fit in one box, and that’s exactly why the studio exists. I’m taking it one step at a time, putting stuff out there, and hoping that my audience, finds inspiration as I have from others 😌.
